Each month, I will offer up a different concert from the archives for download. The files will be in lossless FLAC format. Where possible, I will include whatever CD art I've created on the download page. You can use either Click n Design or Sure Thing Deluxe to print the CD art. Many of these shows are high-quality audience recordings. Some will be soundboards, and some will be soundboard-audience blends. I will state the source on the page for each download.

Each month, the new show will be available for download either as a complete zipped file or in song by song mode. Because of space issues on my server, I have decided that the current month, plus the prior three, will be available as both complete zip file shows or song by song mode. Shows from farther back will be available only in song by song mode, so that those who have dial up and are late to the game can still get the shows. If you have broadband, you can download a free download manager to download all the files of a show without having to keep going back and clicking each song. I hope to keep up to a year's worth of shows available at any given time.

If you haven't yet registered for the 4thellamas message board, take a moment to do so now. It will enable you to participate in voting for the shows that are released for download and give me feedback on the shows.

FLAC files are the preferred method for distributing audio files in the taping community. They compress the file without losing any information. FLAC files can also be played using Winamp without being decoded.

If you want to burn these shows to CD, here is what you do. First, download and install the FLAC decoder. Next, download the songs or entire show. Open the FLAC program and drag the downloaded files into the FLAC files window. Enter whatever directory you want the decoded files to be put in under the "Output Directory" window at the bottom. Now click "Decode." The FLAC program will decode the files into a .WAV file with bit perfect accuracy, and the .WAV files can be burned to CD.
